About Melinda

Hi, I’m Melinda; the founder and owner of Habitat Sereno Organising.

I have a wonderful life as a mother of two energetic teenagers, and this is a role that I love. As a family, with my husband and kids, we all enjoy the great outdoors and going camping, fishing and holidaying in the sun.

I know firsthand how hectic and unpredictable family life can be! I have had years of experience as a ‘household manager’ helping to organise my own busy family and setting up reliable systems for streamlining day-to-day activities.

Before becoming a professional organiser, my background was in primary teaching, a trusted profession, which brought to the fore my organisation skills and love of helping people to reach their goals.

I am an animal lover and have owned horses, dogs and a pink and grey galah. If you have any pets, I would love to meet them!

I am a member of the Institute of Professional Organisers (IOPO) and abide by their Code of Practice and Ethics. As such, all your information and conversations will remain private. To ensure your peace of mind, the business is fully insured, and I am fully vaccinated for Covid-19. I also hold a current Police Clearance Certificate, Working with Children Certificate and Mental Health First Aider Accreditation.

I enjoy finding a sense of order in everything I do; it just seems to come naturally to me. I am passionate about wanting to help you organise your life and start living with renewed purpose.
